Reading aloud of poems on Anglo-Saxon themes by Antonio Bravo
Our coffee break at 17:00 on Friday will be honoured with the visit of Antonio Bravo, former Professor of English Philology at the University of Oviedo and expert on Old and Middle English language and literature, who will read aloud poems on Anglo-Saxon themes.
Trip to Monte Naranco
For those who wish to relax after the conference closing on Saturday, we are planning a trip to Monte Naranco, a hill of 636 meters of altitude and 30,000 square meters of open and natural space which, besides providing excellent views of the city of Oviedo and the Asturian landscape, also hosts the most significant building in European Pre-Romanesque architecture: Santa María del Naranco.
